Children In Need!
We had a great outcome for Children in Need, having surpassed even 0ur own expectations; raising a total of £1180.1 pounds!
A great thank you to all of the prefects, espically Ryan, Simone and the community prefects for organising the event. The turnout was fantastic, what surprised myself was the great contrast of costumes, as well as how much effort some of the younger students had put in. It created a lively and enthuastic day.
Students and teachers also entered for the competition at lunchtime, with the judges being that of Mr Teece, Mrs Gostick, Mrs Wilcox, Ryan and Simone. The audience created such a magnificant atmsophere. Contests were required to do a ‘cat walk’ and show off their creativity.
Of course with myself being Inspector Gadget, I believe I made the best impression of all, you could not recreate the dance that I had performed in that lunchtime, with the whole audience in stiches of laughter. If you missed it, then all I can say is that watch out for the next performance
Overall the day was an absoloute success, not forgetting to mention the Sceince Department for coming first place with there costumes!
